Nicklaus Ironmax Irons inrease accuracy and stability.
Nicklaus's IronMax Progressive Irons have sole weighting with an undercut cavity. This precisely defines the center of gravity to ensure a high Moment of Inertia (MOI), increases resistance to twisting, and provides greater forgiveness.
The Nicklaus Ironmax Irons were made to increase accuracy and stability through back counter weighting. It is a JNS iron set for the serious golfer. These irons provide for an improved trajectory as a result of a deeper cavity and wider sole that provides a lowered center of gravity.
The Nicklaus Progressive XC Irons come with Nicklaus’s FM Precision Uniflex Steel CrankShaft with ShockShield Insert. They are also available in FM Precision Rifle graphite shafts. Along with these high quality attributes the user is gaining back counter heel-to-toe weighting that reduces club head twisting and promotes stability. The progressive offset and sole width are greater on the long irons providing a larger amount of forgiveness, while being decreased on the shorter irons to provide increased shot shaping and versatility. The deeper cavity and wider sole also help the user to improve the trajectory of their shots. The clubhead in the Progressive line are all made with a type of cryogenic deep-freeze of the steel that provides a more uniform material and efficient energy transfer.
This set of irons can will be enjoyed by a golfer of any skill level but are specifically designed for the golfer that has a mid to high handicap level of play and it is here that you will see the quickest and most significant improvement.
