Ping i5 Irons is designed for Maximum forgiveness and playability for the intermediate golfer.
PING engineers sought a balance of forgiveness and simplicity in the design of the i5 iron. The mid-size, perimeter-weighted head features less offset than the G5 iron while sharing many of the G5's proven design characteristics.
The Ping i5 Iron is a mid-size, stainless steel iron with reduced offset. It is very forgiving and provides a full size swing.
The set includes 3-PW irons. Available in right or left-handed models, these clubs are creating a lot of buzz in the golfing world. It has been recommended that these clubs be used by players with at least an intermediate skill level, because as you improve, you may want an oversized club in the next few years for more playability.
If you are willing to spend a little more, it is also recommended that you buy the graphite clubs over the traditional steel ones, for obvious reasons.
